Glenn and his wife, Verna, live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania after serving in East, Central and Southern Africa, where they traveled extensively over the past fifty plus years. They have two adult children serving in Christian ministry. Glenn is serving as a Senior Consultant for Church and mission leaders internationally.
After serving the church in Zambia and Zimbabwe during the 1960s, he served for six years during the 1970s as an administrator in the School of World Mission (now School of Intercultural Studies) at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Beginning in 1983, Glenn served as Executive Director of World Mission Associates until 2012. He continues to research, write and speak about issues of dependency and self-reliance in the Christian movement. Glenn currently holds the title of Executive Director Emeritus of World Mission Associates.
